"Through this teaching, I realised that my studies and future work are ways to serve God faithfully. I want to live responsibly in everything I do."
These words, shared by a student from ENAK Kibimba, reflect the impact of a movement that is helping thousands of young people discover God's purpose for their lives.
Scripture Union Burundi reached more than 7,680 students through 115 Bible Groups across 115 schools in 4 regions. Through these gatherings, students explored the theme "The Christian and Work," discovering a biblical perspective on work, responsibility, and service. As a result of this ministry, 12 students made first-time commitments to Christ, marking a significant spiritual milestone in their journey of faith.
For many participants, the message brought clarity in the midst of uncertainty. Faced with academic pressures and questions about the future, students discovered that their studies are not separate from their faith. Instead, diligence, discipline, and excellence in school can be acts of worship and preparation for God's purpose in their lives.
Students reflected on values such as integrity, responsibility, faithfulness and discussed how these principles shape not only future careers but also their choices, relationships, and attitudes today. The teaching helped bridge the gap between faith and everyday life, encouraging young people to live out their beliefs in practical ways.
The impact extended beyond personal growth. Bible Groups became spaces where students could ask questions, encourage one another, and grow together in their understanding of God's Word.
Many students expressed renewed motivation in their studies and a stronger sense of responsibility toward their future. They began to understand that work is not separate from faith but one of the ways they can serve God and positively influence society.

As Bible Groups continue to meet across the country, they are helping shape a generation of young people who are grounded in biblical values and equipped to face life's challenges with purpose and confidence. The seeds planted today are preparing tomorrow's teachers, entrepreneurs, leaders, health professionals, and parents to serve God faithfully wherever He calls them.
