Throughout the camps, the teachings addressed issues that resonate deeply with the realities young people face today. Themes such as My Future, My Responsibility and Making the Best Decisions challenged participants to recognize that their future is not accidental but shaped by the choices they make daily. Other topics, including Respect for Parents and Authorities and Love Without Regret, guided them toward building healthy relationships grounded in respect, wisdom, and integrity. At the same time, the theme Fighting False Teachings equipped them with discernment, helping them navigate a world filled with conflicting ideas and influences.
As the sessions unfolded, a consistent message became clear: a meaningful and secure future is built on a life rooted in God’s Word. This truth moved beyond theory and became personal for many participants. The atmosphere of worship, reflection, and fellowship allowed them not only to understand these teachings but also to internalize them and make intentional decisions for their lives.
One testimony that clearly reflects this impact came from Niyubahwe Steve, who shared, “I came to the camp with many questions about my future. The teachings opened my eyes: I realized that God created me with a clear plan, and I must walk in His will. I decided to give more space to prayer and Bible reading in my daily life. This camp changed the way I see my future.” His words echo the experience of many young people who left the camp with renewed vision and a stronger commitment to pursue a life guided by God.
These mini-camps were not simply events to attend ; they became turning points. The participants returned to their families, schools, and communities with transformed hearts and a clearer sense of purpose. They carried with them a commitment to live out what they had learned, to bear fruit worthy of repentance, and to become living witnesses of God’s work in their lives. From Ngozi to Rutana, the impact continues to spread, demonstrating that when young people are grounded in God’s truth, their lives become channels of hope and transformation for others.
